Kayaking on Lake Coeur d’Alene is a great activity for the family or for a single traveler. It is a great way to get exercise! 

We offer rentals, lessons and evening classes.  Meet us at the kayak shop, we shuttle you and your party to the lake.  

We have the set up for you and your kayak rental CDA.

Two Hour, Half-day (4 Hours), Full-Day (8 Hours) and Multiple Day Rentals are available.

Rental hours are 8:00 am to 7:00 pm seven days a week

We are closed the Fourth of July and both Ironman Sundays

Pack a lunch, bring a friend, and enjoy Lake Coeur d’Alene from the water. Kayaking is a great workout. It’s also relaxing and a great way to view wildlife and breathe in some fresh air. 


We provide complimentary delivery to the North Shore of Coeur d’Alene Lake free of charge. You can paddle around the North Shore area, North Idaho College area, Tubbs Hill, and up the Spokane River if you like. Parking is sometimes a hassle along the lake and you are welcome to take advantage of our service! We have the newest inventory and the most reliable staff. Kayaks are offered as one seater (Single) and two seater (Tandem).

All kayak rentals include a paddle, pfd (life jacket), whistle, and your transportation to the lake.

Make your reservation request online. Wait for your confirmation and directions to the downtown shop. Show up 10 minutes prior to departure. We suggest our customers pack a snack, water bottle, and a lunch, sunscreen, hat/sunglasses. Wear water friendly clothing (no cotton) and comfortable sandals.

We rent pontoon boats, rent jet skis (waverunners) and ski boats!  Spend a day on the lake while here and you won’t regret it. 

Half day rentals are 10-2pm and 2-6pm. Full day rentals begin at 8am, 9am, or 10am.

White Water Rafting Alberton Gorge

This 12 mile river trip provides 15 rapids and breath taking scenery down the world-class Alberton Gorge on the Clark Fork River! The Clark Fork is the largest river in MT by volume. The trip starts at 10AM and wraps up around 4PM. Locally sourced, homemade lunch featuring fresh garden grown produce is provided. Trip includes swimming, lunch break, and more! 2. Alberton Gorge Clark Fork Half Day Whitewater Rafting River Trip (25 min. Missoula, 2 hour drive from Coeur d’Alene, ID) This trip is run April-Oct. If you are driving over the MT/ID border there is a time change.

Alberton Gorge RaftingThis 12 mile river trip provides 15 rapids and breath taking scenery down the Alberton Gorge on the Clark Fork River. It is the same route as the full day adventure, we just go quicker, no lunch is served, and is meant for those who want a half day thrill! Trips depart daily at 9AM, 1pm and 4PM. 3. Lochsa Full Day Raft Trip (2 hour drive from Missoula, 3 hour drive from CDA) This trip is run April-July 1st. only and requires higher water to go. If you are driving over the MT/ID border there is a time change.

The Lochsa is truly one of the best rivers in the world for adrenaline soaked adventure in the midst of amazing natural beauty. The Lochsa is a free-flowing, wild and scenic river that bounces down a steep granite canyon. The river is surrounded by a lush forest and beds of dense moss. With close to 40 rapids in our 20-mile “day run”, many of them class IV, every trip down the river is an exciting challenge.  All rafters must be at least 16 years old and helmets are required. Price: Adults-$105

4. Coeur d’Alene Half Day Scenic River Float 

(We meet in town, 20 min drive with your guide, April-Nov.)

Scenic Coeur d’Alene River Float.

This is a great way to spend half the day in the Coeur d’Alene/Spokane area.  This is a nice river float down the Lower Coeur d’Alene River! Great for all ages and abilities!  Nervous about younger children on the boats? This is your float trip! You get out on the water without any stress. Picture a lazy river, warm breezes and a total release of all your cares! This is a great day on Coeur d’Alene River. Guests view birds, moose, and has North Idaho written all over it. This is a peaceful section of river with gentle flows that run all summer long. Jump in to swim! Hang out on the beach for a bit. This is a crystal clear spring fed water that houses Cutthroat year round and Chinook Salmon in the fall.

*Please understand that a 3 person minimum is required for reservation. Two person trips may join another couple/group or pay the extra seat to cover guide/gas/reservation.

5. Scenic Montana Float 

(2 hour drive, April-Nov.) (If you are driving over the border either direction there is a time change)

The Tarkio Canyon is a mild stretch of Montana’s largest river by volume, providing a relaxing float on a majestic beautiful river. Relax and kick back while soaking up the scenery. Your experienced, friendly guide will share the colorful heritage of our early settlements, mining claims, and the history of the river. Cancellation Policy:

We require a two week notice for a full refund cancellations. A 15% business charge will be deducted from deposit for cancellations under two weeks. No refunds for 48 hour cancellations. We reserve the right to cancel trips with full refund due to weather, water levels, or insufficient guests. Same day reservation/cancel is subject to 5% credit card fee withholding.
